Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. All pricing is in US dollars.

8. Warranties

All parts and materials installed by CV Garage Doors Inc. come with the manufacturer's warranty only. Warranty terms and duration vary by manufacturer and product. Important warranty information:

We pass through all manufacturer warranties on parts and materials
Warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer
We will assist customers with the warranty claim process
Warranty documentation will be provided upon completion of service
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, accidents, or acts of nature
Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear

CV Garage Doors Inc. does not provide additional labor warranties beyond manufacturer coverage. All workmanship is performed to industry standards and California building codes.

9. Scheduling and Cancellation

We strive to accommodate your preferred scheduling, including same-day and emergency services when available. Our scheduling policies include:

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
Same-day appointments are subject to availability
Emergency services may be available outside normal business hours
No-show or last-minute cancellations may result in a service call fee at our discretion

10. Property Access and Preparation

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area. The garage area should be clear of personal items and vehicles to allow our technicians to work efficiently and safely. CV Garage Doors Inc. is not responsible for items left in the work area.

11. Safety Disclaimer

Garage doors and their components, including springs and openers, can be extremely dangerous if improperly handled. Customers should never attempt to repair or adjust garage door springs, cables, or other high-tension components. CV Garage Doors Inc. is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from unauthorized DIY repairs or modifications.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CV Garage Doors Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding our services, we encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with California law. Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes.
